I remember Going There and Seeing......

The Bumpkin Man applique

The Bumpkin Man applique Here is another great find recently sent to me from Debby Hudson she says

"I have found an old applique from when my mum worked in there in the early 70's which they had to sew onto their shirts"

The Bumpkin Man applique shown here is in remarkable conditions considering it's over 40 years old.

The Bumpkin Man badge

The Bumpkin Man badge I remember hearing that there were give-a-ways on certain nights at the Bumpkin but I never managed to see or obtain any until now. (Click here for larger photo)

The Bumpkin Man badge shown here was just one of these give-a-ways. This image was kindly donated by Debbie Coyle who found it while clearing out her garage and sent me the image.

I contacted Tony Pickernell on the subject and as Tony explained:
"The badges were only made of plastic; the badge was given out as and when.
We never had a Lady Bumpkin badge.
There were Bumpkin T-Shirts, also Place Mats"
