Lance Barrett
Managing partner of The Country Bumpkin is Councillor Lance Barrett, who, as proprietor of the Lance Barrett Agencies, has promoted entertainments in the Andover area for many years.
He was elected to Andover Borough Council as a Conservative member for Winton Ward in May 1969, and is this year’s deputy Mayor of the Borough.
Married with three children, he and his family live in Anton Road, Andover.
Co-partners of The Country Bumpkin are Mr James Stewart Monro, of Strathmore, London Road, Andover, who is a builder and garage proprietor in the town and the chairman of Andover Football Club, and Mr Patrick Langdown, of Keepers House Fox, Amport, an Andover accountant

Amazingly The Country Bumpkin had, over the years of its existence, some of the biggest names from the world of Radio, entertaining the crowds with their road shows.
