hi like the site, i was there that night it was a fiver to get a ticket, if u could get one. there was 2 doorman, one was george and the othere was harry. my old school dinner lady worked there two. i was 19 at the time now im nearly 50 but i can remember it as if it was last night. the beer was cheap i think i could get two pints possibly three for a pound. you could buy food like a basket of chips for 5op. they had two bars one at the top on your left as you walk in and then another up some stairs to your right. there used to be a few of us, and i used to go friday nights , saturday night ans sometimes even sunday nights till 11oclock. on sunday they had a smaller bar upstairs i prefered that one. the faxxxxxon of the day was 3inchich waste band touser, with a flair aswell, xxxxxrts which had a differnt coloured white collor to the rest of the xxxxxrt, or was that a few years early. i ll go through your other dates and see if i can remember anymore, bob scanlan
